While all of you may know that I'm having surgery some of you don't know exactly what I'm having done. Rather than have me try to explain I've included a link to a more lucid explanation from the Mayo Clinic. My aneurysm is of the ascending aortic flavor as you read the article. The only caveat to my situation is the surgery I had almost nine years ago. The aortic valve replacement surgery (Ross Procedure) I had at that point makes this surgery a little more complicated than what it normally would be.

Here is some information on the Ross Procedure:
Here is the link to the surgeon who will be performing the surgery as well:

Seiden,
All the best with your surgery / recovery.
As a former Ross Procedure patient I can sympathize, empathize and relate with your experience.
Cheers,
Adam
Ross Procedure Surgery
Daniel and family:
Our families are tied together by the marriage of our parents, your Mother (Anita) and my Dad (Walker) but even though many years have passed since they married we really do not know each other.
Being that I am the eldest of my siblings, on behalf of Susan, Charles, and Catherine and all of their families we will be thinking of you and your family as you have surgery tomorrow and in the recovery days ahead.
My Dad has told me on numerous occasions what a great parent you are to your four boys. Our family wishes you all the best in the days to come so you can jump right back into being a Dad as soon as possible as well as a loving spouse, and son.
Take care and best regards,
William Ogden
Daniel, Kathy, and The Boys:

You're in our thoughts, Daniel!

Daniel-I know it has been a long time since we have spoken but I want to wish you all of the good luck in the world with the surgery. I know that being positive thru this will make your recovery so much quicker. On behalf of all of your Mississippi friends, be well.

Daniel Kathy & Boys, we are standing with you and know the Lord will bring you through this difficult time. You are in our prayers daily and we will continue to stand with you until you are fully recovered. Glenn & Theresa
We were so glad to hear that Daniel's surgery went well. We said several prayers for Daniel throughout the day. We will keep you all in our prayers. Kathy, I hope you can feel God's presence and relax a little after such an emotional day. God Bless!
Love,
Denise and David
